Down on the planet, near the now-smoking ruin of the Mad Cat, Viper turns her 'Mech as she acknowledges the message. "Roger that," she replies, "one Clanner down and about a hundred to go." Now turned, she sees the three invading dropships braking to land, their main engines lighting the landscape for kilometers. "Welcome to Port Arthur, sir." Phase one is over. Now the real battle begins.
